Casa Zacarias is a welcoming house with a garden in a quiet village of the La Rioja, along the Way of Saint James. It consists of two flats (3 double rooms each) that can be rented together or separately.

The common areas include a wine cellar, a garden, and a “txoko” with a low fireplace for grilling. The apartment kitchens are equipped with basic amenities. The house uses sustainable energy systems for heating (pellets) and hot water (aerothermal system). There is a small shop that sells basic food products in the village; more shops and services can be found in the nearby town of Santo Domingo de la Calzada (9 km).

There are many things to do around Casa Zacarias: You can go fishing or swimming in the Tirón River, enjoy beautiful starry nights, explore the rural surroundings by foot and bike, buy vegetables and other products straight from local producers, and visit small family-owned wineries. There is also a playground, swimming pool and soccer field nearby.
